Shadowbanned Magazine Poster Contest

We want you to MAKE AGITPROP NOW!!! Which is why Shadowbanned Magazine is hosting a Poster Design Contest. Shadowbanned Magazine is seeking bold, original visual work for our upcoming Labor Issue. We're looking for designers, illustrators, and visual storytellers to create an A3 poster exploring labor, class, power, and collective struggle. Whether through illustration, graphic design, infographics, data visualization, or mixed-media work, we want pieces that challenge power, amplify workers' voices, and spread class conciousness.

Prize: One winning submission will receive $200, with their work printed as a standalone A3 poster included inside Shadowbanned Magazine's upcoming Labor Issue.

Deadline: August 27, 2026

Review the submission guidelines and submit  below.

The Cultural Workers Lab

The Cultural Workers Lab is a Shadowbanned Magazine initiative to uplift current and emerging cultural workers who are shaping culture toward progress and collective liberation.

At a moment when people on the political left are under attack and radical perspectives are being pushed to the margins, this lab exists to ensure these voices are not erased and to build a stronger cultural front.

Through the lab, Shadowbanned collaborates with cultural workers to co-produce workshops, talks, screenings, and other public programs. For free events, we provide an honorarium. For ticketed events, all ticket profits go directly to the cultural worker. Shadowbanned also provides production support and promotion.

The Cultural Workers Lab runs throughout the year and is open to everyone, whether you are just starting something new or have been practicing for years. Limited spots available.
Culture is not secondary to movement work. It is the terrain.
