Luïza Luz is a Brazilian transdisciplinary artist, educator, and author whose work spans performance, sound, ecology, pedagogy, and participatory practices. Based in Berlin, Germany, Luïza’s practice is rooted in intersectional environmentalism, emancipatory pedagogy, and deep listening, using voice (spoken and sung), spatial performance, and collective learning to foreground suppressed narratives and imagine systems of care and transformation.
They founded and led the Planetary Embodiment seminar at the Berlin University of Arts, which culminated in the publication Planetary Embodiment: Cooking With Words for Systemic Change and Solidarity (2023), and authored Beneath the Surface: Deep Listening, Buried Narratives, and Embodied Resistance (2024).
