Before you submit

  • Word count Drafts should run 1,000–3,000 words. Pitches should be a few paragraphs. This doesn't apply to poetry or art.
  • Backlink every supporting claim Every fact, statistic, and supporting claim in a pitch or draft must link to its source.
  • Images are welcome Send accompanying images with your submission. You can attach up to 10 files in total (images, documents, or PDFs).
  • Poetry and art Paste poems as text or attach them as a document or PDF. Send art as image files or a PDF. Tell us a bit about the piece, and link to more of your work if you have it.
