Dagger Wound

Dagger Wound (he/it) is a transdisciplinary Muslim artist of color, community organizer, and pathfinder. He creates abrasive, politically charged sound with a cathartic, transgressive performance style that blurs the boundaries between human, machine, and beyond. Motivated by a desire for a better world and his life as an underground trans freak and sex worker, Dagger Wound has toured nationally and internationally as half of Mirrored Fatality, and nationally as a solo project. He collaborates widely with queer and trans multidisciplinary artists across the globe. He embodies contradiction and force—the sword and the wound, the guillotine and decapitation.
