Al Glatkowski

Al Glatkowski is an American anti‑war activist and longtime member of Veterans for Peace. As a young merchant seaman during the Vietnam War, he and fellow sailor Clyde McKay carried out a high‑profile act of resistance in March 1970 by mutinying aboard the SS Columbia Eagle to prevent its napalm cargo from reaching combat zones — an action that later led to his federal prosecution and imprisonment for mutiny.
